A tray-like object that simple represents a ridge-like curved surface is created by sandwiching incisions in a 4-millimeter thick piece of leather with curved wooden parts. The ability to express structural shapes from flat materials such as leather serves as a testament to the high craftsmanship developed in harness manufacturing, as well as the high-quality material that combines suppleness with firmness.

All Koson Kokusu products are marked with a serial number (unique production number). This allows for production control of each product and to manage information associated with said serial number after the product is sold as a unique art piece manufactured from natural materials.
